My poor sister butchered her hand last night. Fred and I rushed to the hospital to meet her and her boyfriend. Her eyes were red from crying, she was holding her bleeding hand in a tea towel. She burst into tears when she saw me. God I love that girl. I was so happy to see 5 fingers moving so I knew she'd be OK. Six hours later we left with 12 stitches in her hand. She was a brave girl I gotta say. Between holding her hand and keeping her boyfriend from fainting it was an exhausting night. What a nasty cut! A huge flap of skin under her pinky finger when pulled back exposed her muscle. It was fascinating to watch them clean it and stitch her up. I could have been a nurse I tell ya! Fred left after an hour of watching the freaks in the waiting room. Emergency rooms on Friday night are hopping let me tell you! Its not nice to see people in pain or scared but that place is an interesting collection of individuals. While we waited for Julia's hand to be repaired we pillaged the room they had us wait in. We hepled ourselves to band aids and gauze, we opened every drawer and cupboard! What a depressing place. The hallway smelled liked shit and piss. Every now and then you could hear some lady crying. Apparently there was a bad car accident. I felt a huge relief as the night went on. The 3 of us were able to walk out of there. Other people that night, not so lucky.
I'm a very lucky girl. I think I may have finally got a new job. I find out Monday afternoon hopefully...
Besides that all is well in my little word. Getting married in 42 days to a wonderful man. He was great last night, driving fast to see Julia. He thinks she's a spoiled 26 year old brat but he loves my little sister. I miss him already tonight. He's spending the night at Alex's house getting wasted with the boys after catching big fish. Tomorrow he's golfing in a tournament.
In his absence, I smoke cigarette's write, bead and think of my sisters throbbing hand.
My beautiful mother called earlier to tell me she spent a ridiculous amount of money on a dress for the wedding. I'm happy that she found something she loves. She's worked so hard to lose so much weight, she deserves a gorgeous dress!

Well, I'm out for now.
